Gratitude and Thankfulness

By NAWBO Administrator

“Gratitude is the healthiest of all human emotions. The more you express gratitude for what you have, the more likely you will have even more to express gratitude for.”                       Zig Ziglar

Thanksgiving is such a great time of the year. we are fortunate to have a holiday where we kick back for a couple of days and really focus on being grateful for what we have in our lives.

What are you grateful for?

A very wiseman “my father” shared this with me a very long time ago, he said always give thanks to God for whatever he puts us through because

Sickness helps us appreciate health

Failure helps us appreciate success

Debt helps us appreciate wealth

Tough times helps us appreciate good times

So, I am grateful for each and every day, for the tough times, for the good times.

I am grateful to be writing this today in hope that it will help someone going through tough times, a sickness, or is feeling like a failure. This is just a stage in your life that will help you appreciate what is coming your way.

Be thankful for who you are and the journey you are on, enjoy every day to the fullest. Remember you cannot rewrite the past so let it go, and we don’t know what the future holds, so live today with gratitude and a thankful heart.

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”   ― W. T. Purkiser

Happy Thanksgiving
